Flex Cube, 2017

12 x 12 x 12 in
30 x 30 x 30 cm

edition of 5

Description by the artist: "Flex Cube is a sculpture/object. It fits a true cube with all equal sides. It twists, suggesting movement and a transformation point between dimensions, seeking to identify the origins of form. The constantly changing angles of its surface reveal surreal, distorted reflections; in certain positions there can be one, two or even three reflections at once. This experience pushes an observer into another dimension, inviting discovery of what is real or surreal on a very personal level. The result is a safe yet compelling interactive encounter with your other self. Please see the last photo below the main image to view the proposal for a dramatic enlargement of Flex Cube to a public art size."
